The rotary cement packers of type BHYW-8, invented and developed in the early 90s, passed the evaluation by Hebei Provincial Science Committee in 1997. The conclusion of the evaluation was "the type BHYW-8 filled a gap in the variety of the domestic cement packing machines, improved the way of cement feeding, motor controlling and weight monitoring, and reached the advanced level in the same range of domestic products". They were also awarded the A-class Certificate of the Hebei Provincial Scientific and Technological Achievement.
